  • Sigma Alpha National Website
    Sigma Alpha is a professional agricultural sorority that promotes scholarship, leadership, service and fellowship among its members. The sorority was founded in 1978 at the Ohio State University by five women who wanted an alternative to the social Greek sorority system. Since that time, Sigma Alpha has become a national organization consisting of more than 80 chapters, comprised of undergraduate and alumni members. Today, more than 7,000 members have been initiated into Sigma Alpha Sorority. We're growing steadily as others in agriculture learn about us. To learn where our undergraduate chapters are located
  • Ag in the Classroom
    Agriculture in the Classroom is a grassroots program coordinated by the United States Department of Agriculture. Its goal is to help students gain a greater awareness of the role of agriculture in the economy and society, so that they may become citizens who support wise agricultural policies. Ag in the Classroom is Sigma Alpha’s National Philanthropy project so it is required to complete an activity yearly.
  • American Agri-Women
    American Agri-Women is the national coalition of farm, ranch, and agribusiness women's organizations. It is an organization serving as a communications link for those who join the coalition. Members work on national issues of mutual interest and concern. A national convention is held annually to discuss and take action on those concerns. By working together effectively, American Agri-Women can magnify its political influence and members can educate consumers and school children as to the needs of agriculture. American Agri-Women works in areas of legislation, regulations, consumer relations, promotion, and education. Many are consumers as well as producers and have a unique point of view to offer.
  • Heifer International - Read to Feed Program
    For more than 60 years, Heifer International has helped more than seven million impoverished families in 128 countries lift themselves out of poverty and achieve self-reliance. Heifer International provides a "living loan" of an animal.
